Felix is, of course, one of the late, great Jaco Pastorius’ sons and while many would have possibly shied away from persuing the bass as a career, Felix has very much forged his own path and created quite the name for himself apart from his families legacy (and furthering it).

Residing in NYC, Felix has a rich collection of projects and musical acquaintances. From spending a few years with The Yellow Jackets after Jimmy Haslip’s departure, to touring with Jeff Coffin, Jazz is Phish or any of his super creative New York based units (many of which feature Mike Bendy on bass as well), Felix has a very strong and individual musical identity.
